Westland Solum American Single Malt Whiskey is a distinctive expression from Westland Distillery, located in Seattle, Washington. Known for its innovative approach to American single malt whiskey, Westland uses a unique mash bill composed entirely of malted barley. The Solum expression is aged in a combination of new American oak and used barrels, which impart a rich complexity to the whiskey. With an ABV of around 50%, this whiskey offers a robust flavor profile featuring notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and a hint of smoke, complemented by a smooth, lingering finish. The Pacific Northwest\'s climate and terroir contribute to its unique character, making it a standout in the American whiskey landscape.
