When Alsatian clones of Pinot blanc finally became available in Oregon, a small test plot was planted in Eyries Sisters estate vineyard. The block was doubled in the late 90s but still yields only a limited production. Eyries style is dry, medium-bodied and full-flavored and closely resembles Pinot blanc from Alsace. The wine undergoes natural temperature primary fermentation and full malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.
