Marie-Pierre Chevassu-Fassenet is one of the very few \'vigneronnes\' or female winegrowers in the region, managing a small 4.5ha estate in Chateau-Chalon from the vines to the cellar to the sales with a little help from her family.

Marie-Pierre\'s Chardonnay was produced using the sous voile method which encourages a cultured yeast to form which brings a hint of the classic oxidative character and brings out the minerality of the marl soil. Bags of soft creamy and floral flavours along with green fruits and a well rounded finish.
