A blend of 2/3 Riesling and 1/3 Muskateller (aka Yellow Muscat). Jan\'s first attempt at a \"real\" orange wine, albeit with a layering technique in the tank rather than punchdowns, softening the tannins in the wine. While not incredibly aromatic, this wine guards its mystery in the palate, where its spices and daring texture ensnare the audience. A sublime, zero default orange wine for all occasions.

This wine is part of Kleins new \"Pandamonium\" range, for which he collaborates with very small producers to support them, in this case with a Polish winemaker in Kleins home village of Krv who grew the grapes for it. Klein and the grower each made one barrel and blended everything into one wine.

It cannot be emphasized enough: these are not normal Mosel wines. They would be exceptional in ANY of the worlds winemaking regions, actually. Jan Matthias Klein makes classic Rieslings under the Staffelter Hof label, but works with ZERO SULPHUR on this line of wines. They are unfined, unfiltered, hand-bottled, and contain varying levels of palate-tingling residual CO2.
