A classic Laphroaig and the Second Cairdeas Release (not including the 30y/o). This is more fruity than recent Laphroaigs - Apples and pears, custard cream biscuits, Juicy tropical fruits, salted caramel, Terry\'s chocolate orange, iodine, salt and smoke. A special Laphroaig and pretty amazing what can be done with 12 years and a bourbon barrel - fruity, sweet and savoury all in one. One of only 4000 bottles and now 16 years later there are a lot less.
