MB Roland Kentucky Dark Fired Whiskey is a unique expression from the MB Roland Distillery, located in Pembroke, Kentucky. This whiskey is crafted using a mash bill that prominently features dark-fired corn, a nod to the traditional tobacco curing process of the region, which imparts a distinctive smoky character. The whiskey is aged in charred oak barrels, allowing the rich, smoky notes to meld with the natural sweetness of the corn, resulting in a complex flavor profile with hints of caramel, vanilla, and a touch of spice. Bottled at a robust ABV, this whiskey offers a bold and full-bodied experience, showcasing the innovative spirit of Kentucky whiskey-making.
