The Vicomt dAumelas geographical area is made up of many small hills and basins enabling a variety of soils from sandy silty, limestone sands, and sandstones. Set inland and not far from the Mediterranean, the area today is a collection of small villages alongside the banks of the river Hrault. The small handful of vineyards are blessed with such a diverse mixture of geographical elements to make red, white and rose wines. Many producers fortunate to have the knowledge of past generations and today\'s modern day scientific expertise are able to produce a range of excellent value wines according to each type of soil, today\'s winegrowing techniques and yields.

Touches of smoke and dark chocolate make it irresistible. Nice full bodied fruit and silky tannins.
